MP3 Per-Willy Schulz - Subterranean World
A calm good-mood down-beat tune with a bass-heavy groove to support a playfully ornamented mellowly distorted lead, in an imagined descent into a spacious subterranean world. An instrumental, nature-film like tune for a moment''s relaxation.

When I got my first analog synthesizer (a Roland Jupiter 4) at the age of 12, I learned to love the creative space of "bare sound". I could start off with a very basic sound, and twist and turn it in any direction I wanted, disappearing into the sonic worlds of electronic circuitry in my bedroom. I had played piano since the age of 7, and was already doing some simple improvisation. I loved experimenting with the acoustic qualities of the old piano, hitting the keys at various strength, with and without the pedal to hear the tones interact, resonate and tune out. Ever since, I have been holding on to music as a hobby, and made many instrumental tunes of varying categories, but mostly with a steady groove and bass, which are essentials elements in much of the music that I like to listen to as well. My main musical influence is probably Jazz and Classical music, but I listen to a lot of World Music, Electronic and many other genres, as long as it has something to express, or just makes a good feeling.
Being a member of the Baha''i Community since childhood, I''ve grown up with a global perspective on the world, and that has also influenced my music a lot. I like experimenting with elements of styles and instruments from around the world, to bring them together in a unified musical expression.
