The eclectic styles from Danny Lemmon Music stem honestly from my eclectic life and performing career. The songs on this album reflect the thoughts, moods, and emotions of a man reared in American suburbia with roots in rural America and musical experiences in downtown Chicago. The musical genres are directly related to the variety of life I have had the good fortune to experience. There is homage here to the great number of superlative musicians I have had the pleasure of being associated with – several of whom appear on this album.
Here you will hear the rockin’ guitar, bass, and drums – the smoothly smokin’ horn section and soloists – the authentic acoustic tones – and my prevailing keyboard playing throughout the album. There is no pretense here. I do not believe it has a place in my songwriting.
Rockin’ dance music, country, blues, and easy listening styles all are present on this album. The album was made with all honesty to myself and the players who worked on it with me. I honestly hope you enjoy it.
This album is enjoying quite a bit of local jukebox play and local sales from our live performance venues.
