In Matt. 19: 26 Jesus tells us, “With God all things are possible”. He asks us to trust Him with our obedience. And as we do, He uses our seemingly insignificant contributions of faith to accomplish His purpose for good in us, the body of Christ, and even the world. In exchange, we receive the opportunity to witness His faithfulness in our lives. Years ago, the Lord brought to a close my time with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and set me on a road of discovery in Him, that I would not have taken otherwise. Our Lord has a way of leading us where we would not normally go, in order that we may receive something more valuable than we ever imagined. And in the long nights of uncertainty, He places songs in our hearts. That like the psalmist, we may also say “I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning!”. Now my morning has broken. And I will sing aloud the night songs I received as expressions of His tender, fulfilling, exhilarating, sobering, passionate love for us.
