TRIBLESSED
TriBlessed’s mission is to reach the youth where they are (especially our young black men) and show them it is ok to have a Holy Ghost party and have fun praising the Lord.
TriBlessed is a gifted and anointed trio of biological brothers, residents of Forest Park, Ohio, a northern suburb of Cincinnati. The trio started as “The Stroud Brothers” which began ministering through song in 1996. As they matured in their faith and their gifts, they incorporated dance in 2000, puppetry in 2002, gospel rap in 2003, and drama in 2005.
▪ Stephon Stroud is 18 and graduated from Scarlet Oaks Technical School.
▪ Justus Stroud, 17, is a senior at Winton Woods High and
▪ Vincent Stroud Jr., 16 is a junior at Winton Woods High School.
As they continued to mature, it was revealed to change their name to “TriBlessed” which means:
▪ Blessed by God with destiny and purpose. Romans 11:2
▪ Blessed by Jesus with eternal life through His death, burial and resurrection. John 3:16
▪ Blessed by the Holy Spirit with power to do greater things than these. John 14:12
“We believe it is ok to praise Him through venues such as rap music, hip-hop, and dance or whatever it is you do, but all to the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to He and He alone be the glory.”
TriBlessed has taken its ministry citywide to several youth outreach programs and ministerial events; numerous youth explosions i.e. Zion Global Ministries, HAVROC Ministries, Thy Kingdom Come Ministries, Woodward High School.
They have also taken their ministry before political dignitaries such as Councilwoman LaKeita Cole and Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper and for the past several years to several local community functions such as
▪ “Lincoln Heights Days”,
▪ Town Hall Meeting - opening for Kemba Smith,
▪ The Black Family Reunion,
▪ The Harriet Beecher Stowe Day, and the
▪ “Make Me Over” kickoff for Tonex at Allen Temple, and
▪ “Martin Luther King Day Celebration” at The Cincinnati Museum Center
In July 2003 at a national puppetry and dance conference in Aurora Illinois, for One Way Street Ministries, they captured second place in the nation for a praise dance to the song “He Reigns” by Kirk Franklin. Mrs. Lagina Burton (Carter) and the trios’ parents, Vincent and Catherine Stroud, choreographed the dance.
TriBlessed has also taken its ministry to the Columbus Gospel Explosion September 2005; Power and Glory Ministries in Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and Scioto Juvenile Correctional Facility in Delaware, Ohio in December 2005.
