Infidelity. Juggling work and family in a metropolis. Partying with friends. T-Time ushers in a poetic brand of lyricism with his debut album Got It Right Here. In addition to smooth delivery and intricate stories, he is a talented producer able to write melodies that give vibrant life to his music. With a work ethic to match his artistry, he says "I want people to be challenged, but also relax and enjoy themselves". After years of hard work, teaming up with producer and co-writer Geoff Stanfield along with vocalist Lucy Woodward for his debut album gave the 21 year old the richer musical sound he desired. Representing the green landscapes and remnants of grunge in Seattle, the West Coast has a new rising star.

Born Tyler Cordy in 1985, T-Time was introduced to NWA, DJ Quik and Outkast at an early age by his two older sisters. A hobby in middle school turned into a life long passion. In his own words he is an "image driven writer" and graduated high school receiving an award for Outstanding Achievement in English. All the time his reputation was growing as a top shelf lyricist and producer throughout Seattle, hitting the streets and radio waves with projects such as 2003''s Once Upon a Time in Seattle and 2004''s The Lebron and Carmelo Mixtape with recording artist Fidget.

A move to California to attend the University of California at Santa Cruz was an opportunity for T-Time to expand his West Coast fan base and work with new artists. He began to further his growth as a producer, seamlessly blending orginal keyboards with classic samples to create his own original sound behind the boards. Evidence of this was executive producing the Bay Area''s The Young Murph Project in 2004, capturing a full bodied and emotional sound. 2005''s The Rat Pack Mixtape (hosted by veteran DJ B-Mello) garnered him extensive radio play in Seattle, California and Atlanta. However, with a building hype, the balance of college and music became increasingly difficult.

The turning point came in 2005, when he dropped out of college to pursue music full time, knowing he "had to make something happen." The chance to finally work on his ambitious debut came in the fall of 2005. Collaborating with veteran Seattle musicians and teaming up to co-produce the entire record with Geoff Stanfield, the record signaled a change in style from conventional keyboard and sample based hip hop to a brand new sound, complete with live instrumentation. T-Time cites influences such as Fiona Apple, The Beatles, Jay-Z and T.I. His extremely listenable but experimental music shows a departure from formulaic mainstream hip-hop. Geoff Stanfield brought his experience as a member of Geffen act Black Lab, as well as a member of Mark Kozelek''s Sun Kil Moon. Half of the record features vocalist Lucy Woodward, who penned the smash single (There''s Gotta Be) More to Life for Stacie Orrico. This talented team of artists helped T-Time create unique hip-hop which is a blend of styles ranging from soul to jazz to alternative rock. He describes working with these amazing musicians was "like going to your piano one day, and finding new keys".

With confidence in his vision to change the music game, the artist phrases it most eloquently: "this is for lovers of good music who aren''t afraid to genre-bend a little". A versatile student of music, T-Time has indeed "Got It Right Here".
