This Solemn Vow was orginally conceived in the Winter of 2004 by current members, Todd and Camden. Since, TSV has seen its fair share of member changes until finally settling into it''s current lineup after Aaron and Bryan joined in February of ''05 and Andrew in Summer of ''05. With a lineup that now shares the same common goals, passion, and intensity TSV can dedicate mind, body, and soul to making the best possible music.
Drawing from all aspects of the music world This Solemn Vow credit their strongest influences to bands such as Trivium, As I Lay Dying, Iron Maiden, and Fugazi. TSV''s passion to share their music with others is what drives them to perform with one of the most energetic live shows you''ll see. Like those who paved the way before them, such as Lamb of God, TSV strives to perform with a combination of musicianship, movement, and drive, that of a metalhead spectical. The band only has God to thank and look forward to walking through the doors that have been opened. As of August 2005 TSV inked a deal with local record label, Roadside Attraction Records. Now in partnership, both TSV and RSA Records will strive towards the common goal of getting on the map. TSV continues on it''s musical journey, working harder than ever and having a great time.
