Making a joyful noise is a passion Ya''Londa has been sharing with others from a very young age. Born November 18, 1975 in Cheraw, South Carolina, she was taught the word of God and was nurtured in a Christian home. She began singing in her church choir at the age of five. As Ya''Londa became more spiritually developed, she became more creative in her owm unique style of showing her God-given gift and talent.
A passion for gospel music and for ministering to God''s people through song has always been paramount in her life. She asserts: "Of all the activities I could be involved with, music is what drives my soul, and makes me feel whole. God''s calling is not a burden but a blessing which allows me to praise Him through a ministry of music."
Ya''Londa''s blessing, her God-given talent, enables her to write her own compositions. "New Heart", her latest single, and "I Surrender all To You," her debut album, is a resounding celebratory success. Mrs. Freeman describes her musical selections/compositions as having a gospel neo-soul / Jazzy flare sound which are inspired by God to edify His people.
She has had the privilege of opening concerts and gracing the stage with two recording artists Donald Malloy and Jason Champion. A few of her favorite artists are The Clark Sisters'', Mary Mary, Kelly Price, Tamela Mann, and Fantasia.
An independent artist, Mrs. Freeman is currently on the move, fulfilling engagements, promoting her latest album with media interviews, and travel.
Ya''Londa is married to, and serves with her husband, Pastor Kelvin F. Freeman. Under his leadership, together they are in ministry at Greater Fair Plains A.M.E Zion Church, in McColl, S.C. They have two wonderful boys, Kelvonte'' Malik and Quinton Elisha Freeman. They are also proud of and blessed to have the eldest son, Brandon Robinson.
Mrs. Freeman''s second album is soon to be released. Her spiritual mantra: "I serve a Big God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think, according to the Power that worketh in Me."
