Some 37 years ago, George Freudenstein was a member of a band, and wrote music. Then, George left the band, life got in the way, and much of the music—which he continued to write even after he left—stayed inside his head. Later, George first met young Shlomo Abramson as they and their respective families were starting their life in Israel together. More recently, George decided to “get back in the game” of music. In the meantime, Shlomo had become a gifted performer in his own right, a member of a band called Haakevot that released its own CD. Upon its release, George heard it and decided that Shlomo brought the perfect sound to give voice to the music that had been accumulating in George’s head over years. Sometime after that, they agreed to get together and produce an album of a representative selection of George’s music. And so, "Later On", a CD album by Project HaGeSHer—a collaborative project between George and Shlomo—was created.
