Daven Belfry Band’s debut album is really a collection of the highlights of their repertoire. The band has always been exploring new genres and mixing different styles and moods, so it wasn’t particularly easy to put together a 10 track album that could define their musical identity. The album consists of the band members’ personal favorites and most of the songs that have stayed longest with the band. “Sweet and Wise” is one of the first songs they ever played together and have over the years become a fan favorite, along with the catchy “It’s okay to be lonely today” and the country-rocker “Somewhere along the road”. The album stretches from soft ballads like “Señorita” and “Lonely Hearts” to the epic rock-ballad “Because” delivered with a hard-rock punch.
This is an honest presentation of the band with the diversity and affection for music the band stands for.
