Melgar Ministries began as a vision and a dream to David Melgar and it soon became a reality after recording his first professional album.
David began singing at the age of twelve at his church of attendance. As he became older, God began stirring something special in his heart. That something special was in fact a ministry in music. Gos had a huge purpose not only for him through music, but also for his entire family. By founding Melgar Ministries, David hopes to lay a foundation that the rest of his family can build upon. Melgar hopes that the members of his family will be encouraged to hone their talents and develop their own ministries, whether they be preaching, music, or anything else that serves God.
The vision of Melgar Ministries is to proclaim God’s Kingdom through music and lyrics. The general purpose is to create lyrics that motivate not only David, but others to hear it so that they can also reflect on it and use it for their own lives.
