Toonyun was born in Hong Kong and is now residing in Los Angeles. She has been a professional bass player, pianist and songwriter since she was little. By releasing the album "3", she finally feels "complete" as a musician and artist. Toonyun has written with and for other artists but this is her first solo release. She likes all kinds of music: from Beethoven to Guns''N''Roses; Siouxsie and the Banshees to Joao Gilberto; Björk to Chinese Opera.
