The Successful Failures is the new band from FDR-label owner and Dipsomaniacs'' singer/songwriter Mick Chorba. Originally an alt-country side project, the group has evolved into a full rock n roll outfit with a sound a bit reminiscent of Guided By Voices, Superdrag, and The Shins with the jangly melodic sensibilities of artists like Marshal Crenshaw and the Moberlys.
