Details:
This 3rd song from the "No Expiration Date" sessions is a rare gem from the U.S. Mods. It is a graceful, slower song that is unlike most of the other past recordings. Songwriter Tom Henninger tells us the following: “Waiting Without Regret is a song I wrote after breaking up with a girlfriend. I wrote what I felt. I really wanted her back, but at the same time, I knew I wasn’t happy with our relationship. I resist change, especially with emotionally charged issues in my life. Waiting Without Regret is probably the most openly vulnerable song I’d ever written for the U.S. Mods." Backed up by bandmates Mike Clements, Bruce Warren and David Kraus, the introspective nature of the lyrics ring true to everyone who has experienced a deteriorating relationship.
