The Campaign was formed in Madison in February 2010 when Paul Mitch and Danny Wedel began playing acoustic gigs together around Madison. Soon after, Joey (Danny''s twin brother) started playing along on cajon for the acoustic gigs. Rounding things out David Burney joined in on bass, and the band decided to start incorporating electrics. The Campaign still performs acoustic shows adding to the versatility of the group. Paul and Danny trade off on lead vocals, and Joey will often add backing vocals. In March of 2011, the band released an eponymous EP showing off the various styles the group incorporates into its sound.
With influences ranging from The Beatles and Led Zeppelin to Radiohead and the Raconteurs, this rock quartet is sure to impress.
