Born to sing created to worship! Rev. Valissa Moore may be internationally known for her weekly devotional "Proverbial Moment" but long before she began to preach the word of God and write weekly devotionals she was ministering God''s Word through song.
Rev. Moore began singing at the tender age of 15 but wouldn''t have known that she had such a powerful gift had her mom not forced her to join the youth choir at her church. In her early 20''s she pursued a career singing secular music and released a CD with Empire Records but later completely surrendered her talent to God and returned to her roots and began ministering contemporary, traditional, gospel music.
She later went on to express what she felt by writing poems and discovered she actually had the gift to write not only poetry but songs as well. After giving her life to Christ she released another CD entitled "Praise Him" and is now working on her third CD simply entitled "Valissa."
Through Moore and Moore Ministries International she releases a weekly devotional via email and has recipients on three continents at present. She is also in the process of writing a book entitled "Proverbial Moment" a devotional book that will help you spend quality time with God when you only have a moment to spare.
Rev. Moore has starred in plays, opened for well known gospel artists, performed on television programs, at prisons, churches, appeared in a movie called "Painting Churches" and on the Matlock television series. Once you hear the voice that comes out of this anointed woman of God, you will be left wanting more and more.
Rev. Moore and her husband also began providing annual couples'' conference called Beyond the Veil or BTV Couples'' Conferences with a mission to help restore and strengthen marriages with biblical, life applicable sessions.
