"Away" is a song of finding peace within change. Guitarist and Bandleader Jake Modica started with a simple but quirky acoustic singalong, and Chris Chard brought in a lyric stance where he describes his feelings for a final time before, as the lyrics suggest, leaving for greener pestures. Nine Even seldom turn down the volume this much, but when they do it brings a side of the band to the table that adds some of their personal groundedness, and humor for all to see.
