Details:
Nav-Vii (pronounced: Nah-Vee). A native of San Francisco, California, Nav-Vii now resides in Atlanta, Georgia. His music career kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia in 2005, and since that time has made a big name for himself in the underground music scene. With a broad fan base internationally, Nav-Vii has groomed his eclectic style to perfection. Nav-Vii is an expert with many unique musical details which makes his style very original and hard to compare to other musicians. When asked who he admires the most in music, he replied: “I truly admire musicians of all kinds and any creativity that expresses each person as an individual.”

As broad musically as an artist can be, Nav-Vii has several tracks that show appreciation in many different genres. If you listen carefully, you will hear many drum patterns and synthesizers that are simply unmatched in modern Ambient Electronica music. Throughout his music you will hear a strong Ambient, Soundtrack, Electronica, Trance, Breakbeat, Ghetto Tech, House and at times a Hip Hop feel. What is most astonishing about Nav-Vii''s music talent is not only his ability as a music producer, but his skillful ability as a vocalist and writer. Fans and artists’ alike have hailed Nav-Vii “The King of Ambient Electronica Music” which would be hard to argue when you compare his rhythmic style and mind-blowing synthesizers.

In September 2008, Nav-Vii released "All These Questions" which for many was the metamorphosis of Nav-Vii into the list of most talented Ambient Electronica musicians. In September 2009, the metamorphosis went beyond what many of his fans ever expected. "Temple of Envy" which Nav-Vii calls his "obra maestra" clearly shows not only how talented he is as a writer, but how brilliantly he is vocally. "Temple of Envy" left many fans and artists wondering what Nav-Vii will musically manifest next. In June 2010, the long anticipated “The Wait of the World” was released. Nav-Vii’s comment on the album was simply “I have finally mastered my style.” However you want to interpret that comment, you should be as excited as all his diehard fans about the album. In April 2011, Nav-Vii released his first album with a slightly new style. The new changes have definitely accentuated the traditional arrangements and instrumentation of Nav-Vii’s traditional sound and added more energy to the songs. In addition, these changes brought out the important elements in Nav-Vii’s musical style and lyrics. All of these adjustments have propelled Nav-Vii’s latest Album “Sui generis” to a new height of popularity. Tracks like “It’s Going Down,” “Sui generis,” and “One Two Dejavu,” force you to respect his Hip Hop swagger which is practically unheard of from an electronica musician. Tracks “I Came Into This World,” Mr. Fly Guy,” “Stars Over Japan,” “Planet NV” and several others are sure to excite Nav-Vii’s loyal Ambient/Electronica fan base. Currently in collaboration with various artists around the globe, we should expect many great things in the future from this Atlanta based super talent.

Nav-Vii is sincerely thankful to all his fans and encourages everyone to dream big and always have passion for what you love and stand for.
