Most people know Mike by his real name, Mike Bonanno. Translated in Italian, Bonanno is Buon Anno, meaning Good Year. Born and raised in Penfield, NY, Mike makes his home in Albany, NY with his wife and best friend, Bernadette. Their four sons, Jesse, Cory, Mish and Sean all share Mike''s talent as singers, songwriters and musicians. The songs featured on this new CD are 10 of Mike''s homegrown songs, recorded in his basement studio. This first project was mixed and mastered at Sandcreek Music and Mastering, Albany NY. Mike performs in and around the Albany NY area many popular tunes from the past as well as the present. Some are the standards we all love. Others flew just under the mainstream radar and it all makes for great listening.
