Mike Haralson has been writing songs in his head since the age of twelve. Although never diagnosed as a child, Mike displayed all the symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and failed to learn like the other kids. Mike, however, was blessed with musical gifts. He could write a song about anyone he ran into. He learned to play the guitar by offering to buy an acquaintance a bottle of Old Foster Whiskey. Because of Mike’s early problems, he turned to substance abuse which caused him some health issues. Although he struggles every day to stay sober, Mike has shown with God’s help and the love of his family, he can accomplish anything.
These songs are about two men he befriended along his journey that epitomize the American man. Men that work hard and love their country:
