MP3 ROFL - What People Wanna See

ROFL began as a musical duo comprised of two individuals, Nick Pentimone and Dakota McCormick, creating original music and lyrics, and recording their first song all in one single night. After recording this first song, "Find Me," in July 2009, it became apparent that these two individuals had a certain chemistry with one another in making cross-genre music. After creating ten songs together, each with a positive message dealing with motivation, the uselessness in judgment, and the importance of helping your own community as well as others, ROFL decided to take a quick turn in the road with “What People Wanna See,” diving deep into the costumes of your stereotypical mainstream hip-hop artists, seeing what it would be like to play their roll. These lyrics, targeting mainstream hip-hop with verbal irony, are accompanied by an electronic feel of instrumentals. ROFL has continued through this time, making music as a duo, although this unit has evolved into a full live band consisting of six 18 year olds, all from Rockland County, NY.
