In ancient times, it was believed that the universal Ki energy started its journey from deep within the cosmos. This energy was filtered primarily by nine stars - thus the name Nine Star Ki was born.
The stars which filter this energy begin with the star Vega (Yin energy) continue through the stars of Ursa Major (The Plough/The Great Bear) and pass finally through Polaris (Yang energy).
Each of the stars energy will wax (increase in strength) and wane (decrease in strength) with three stars being predominant at any one time.
These are known as the timeliest star, the past timely star and the future timely star. At the time of your birth, these particular stars would infuse you with characteristics and supply your own personal chemistry or ki.
