A junior in a private high school, Veronika Blinder has studied the cello for 13 years. She has participated in Boston based orchestras since the age of 7 and is currently in the Senior Orchestra of Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, which played in venues such as Symphony Hall, Sanders Theatre, and the Hatch Shell Memorial (Esplanade). Veronika has always been passionate about music, not only classical. She has participated in chamber groups, among which was the Rock, Apocalyptica-type cello trio, as well as playing pieces such as the Ravel String Quartet, the Beethoven Op. 59 No. 1 String Quartet, Schubert''s "Trout" Quintet, and many more. Winning first prize in the American Fine Arts Festival, she played the Beethoven Trio in Carnegie Hall, New York.
