Details:
"Van" is a late bloomer baby boomer, who has always loved performing, majoring in Drama at Cal State University, Sacramento. Later in life, he met a Singer/Songwriter/Flutemaker, named Richard "Blackhawk" Kapusta, and purchased a flute for a wall decoration. But the flute never made it to the wall, as Van found himself muting the TV and playing the flute instead. Singer/Songwriters Tom Simms, Curtis Pacheco, Jacob Ingram, and Jim Richmond believed that his playing might complement some of their original music, and the resulting collaborations led to the making of "The Call". Van''s influences include Paul Horn and Carlos Nakai.
Van moved from Southern Colorado, and now resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
