Details:
Billy Reo is a singer/songwriter from small town Ohio. Billy has been writing songs for many years and has a writing style that incorporates blues, country, and folk influences. One of his earlier cover bands, “The Middlemen” relied heavily on Van Morrison, CCR, Blue Rodeo, among others. These bands along with Neil Young, Alison Krause, Wilco, BB King, Nancy Grifith, Elvis Costello and The Indigo Girls, are some of his major songwriting influences.

Billy uses an acoustic guitar, piano, and a bit of slide to form a foundation for vocals which are sometimes subtle, and other times shaking the pictures off the wall. Here’s what a few people are saying about Billy’s song “Not Alone”, recently reviewed at https://www.tradebit.com where it was “track of the day” for July 11, 2006.

“I love this song, great job, and the slide guitar and harp sound so beautiful together. The Vocals and lyrics sound wonderful. Great Job. I wish you well and great song!!!!!!!!!!!”

“cool song. i hear a lot stones influence. i love songs that are stripped down with the acoustic sound. definitely hope this is downloadable.”

“Music is very early Stone''ish sounding, which we need more of! Good song. Makes me want to drive to an empty dump of a bar and have a cold beer. Band keeps it simple and doesnt over take the song. Damn good lyrics and song writing!”

Billy figures that if his music can have this effect, that is, wanting to drink and drown your sorrows he has accomplished his mission. So find a comfy chair, or a dark corner, and indulge in some hard drinking.
