MP3 Christianite - Ain't Like Other Emcee's
My style is that of a Christian Hip Hop artist that is not ready to conform to the ways of this world. I tell it like it is with no sugar coating. Everything I do is highly original and from a Godly perspective.

My first birth took place in Hayti, MO on July 20,1986. I grew up in Caruthersville, MO and led as normal a life as a kid could have. I switched schools my second grade year and had to make new friends. One day at lunch some of the other kids were talking about church and stuff and I got to thinking, "I want to go to church." So eventually my brother and me talked my parents into going to church. We went and sat and sang and listened and fell asleep and woke up and left. Thats basically what happened for the next year or so. Well about a year after we started the preacher had a heart attack and died, and a new preacher came in and took over, Bro. Jim. The summer after my thrid grade year Bro. Jim started talking about a childrens church camp and I was very excited and wanted to go. At this time I was "fighting" with God because I knew He wanted me to make a descion for Him, but I was being very hard headed. Well we went to the camp in July, the week right after my 10th b-day. We arrived at the camp early Monday afternoon and I had the biggest headache I''ve ever felt. It stuck with me all day, even after taking no telling how many asprin. The next day it was still there and by the evening worship service I knew what "it" was. God was working on me by the only way my hard headed self would comply, and I did comply. That night I asked Jesus into my heart and not too long after my headache was gone. And the rest of the week was awesome. Well years went by and at 13 I was pretty on fire for God. And one day at Sunday school I read the title of the lesson and it changed me life forever. The title was Dr. J. I thought that would be a cool rap song and when I got home I started writing and I had the first verse and hook wrote and set it aside, and didn''t pick it back up for over a year. At 14 I came up with the name Christianite for an e-mail. Not too long after that I got the conviction to wirte again on the lyrics, which took forever to find. I found it and finished it. Within the next couple of years I wrote quiet a few songs and I was getting another conviction. In November of my 10th grade year I surrendered to the ministry and took hold of what God wanted me to do. That next summer I began recording at Q-Work and finally finished in Jan. 2006. But after I finished I started losing interest and was really wondering if this is what God wants me to do. I was getting all this from family and some friends and was listening. I fell away from God and was running, until resently. About a month or so ago I realized I was "fighting" with God again and I already knew Who won the last battle, lol. And that brings me to now, I''m fired up and ready to go serve and praise God and follow Him wherever He leads me. He has blessed me with a beautiful fiancee, Kalli Wahls, whom I can''t wait to spend the rest of my life with. Also, thanks to all my friends and family that have supported me and hopefully will continue to do so.
