Check out Craig Wilson''s self titled e.p. All tracks written by Craig Wilson himself!
Craig''s musical journey began almost at birth. His mother was a ballerina and his father had a life long career in photography. With all of that artistic flavor, some was bound to rub off on Craig. "I remember following around my parents to art shows. While my mom was selling paintings I would sit behind the tent and write songs." These songs soon turned into successful sets at local Detroit bars and clubs. Since then Craig has performed with artists such as Tyler Hilton, Cyndi Lauper, and Lucy Woodward to name just a few. He has also appeared at venues such as New York City''s Irving Plaza and the legendary CBGB''s, as well as Orlando''s Theatre of the Stars at MGM which houses 2000 people, LA''s Viper Room and The Gig, and countless other venues across the country.
Craig has appeared on television news shows and on the popular entertainment show NY360 alongside the likes of Toby Lightman and Howie Day. Craig''s songs are honest, up front, and from the heart. Whether Craig is playing to small, intimate audiences or large crowds, Craig''s live performances are always moving.
Craig has worked with some of the best in the business to hone his songs into a fully produced, finished product. He has recorded with Chris Musgrave (Springsteen, Allman Brothers, and Dickie Betts), Jonathon Mover (FUEL, Avril Lavigne, Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson), and collaborated and worked with hit songwriters like Hugh Prestwood who has written for Trisha Yearwood, Lucy Woodward who wrote the hit Dumb Girls and Jo Davidson who has written for Meatloaf as well as her 2001 hit "Kiss Me There."
Craig''s new album, due out in the coming months features a who''s who of musical talent. Working with songwriting coach and producer Jo Davidson, musicians include David Patterson on guitar (Shawn Mullins, Indigo Girls), Winston Roy on bass (Lauren Hill, Jewel, Patti Smith), Steve Hass on drums (John Scofield, The Manhatten Transfer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Billy Joel, Bo Diddley), and Jo Davidson on keys (Susanna Hoffs, Meatloaf, Vh1, NBC, The Oprah CD Giveaway and more)
Tracks are currently being engineered and mixed by Bob Smith at Sugarbox Studios in New York City. Bob has worked with names like Harry Connick jr., Bon Jovi, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson and many, many others.
