Details:
As heard on WBCB radio in Philadelphia/Trenton, where
DJ Lou Powers has described the CD as, "fantastic," and "getting a great response!," and soon to be appearing live in Las Vegas on the Dennis Bono show, heard on KUNV 91.5.

Ms. Esposito was also recently interviewed extensively on WLNZ radio, where DJ Jim Stone has raved about the "wonderful songs," and praised https://www.tradebit.comosito''s "beautiful voice."

Julie Esposito is a long-standing Los Angeles based vocalist, celebrated for her pure, warm tone and artful phrasing. Ms. Esposito has a unique style, characterized as a mixture of jazz, pop and Broadway, and has performed in a multitude of jazz clubs as well as cabarets.

Ms. Esposito is also known for her willingness to showcase lesser performed song gems, as in her newly released CD, "Unsung Hollywood."

"Unsung Hollywood," showcases an eclectic mix of lesser known film songs, including those written by Oscar winning songwriters such as Henry Mancini, Johnny Mercer, Stephen Sondheim, Michel Legrand, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Jay Livingston & Ray Evans, John Kander and Fred Ebb and Richard M. and Robert https://www.tradebit.comrman.

The songs on this CD demonstrate that musical treasures can be found in the oddest of films. Two of the most poignant songs on the CD were actually written by Anthony Newley for a 1969 X-rated musical. One of those songs has never been recorded before now, except by the composer himself.

There are also two songs on the album that were requested of Ms. Esposito by the songwriters themselves.

Ms. Esposito also chose to feature one great Gershwin tune as an example of a great song written for a Broadway show which unfortunately, did not make it into the film version.

The musical gems on this album span 50+ years, and
Ms. Esposito''s fresh interpretations demonstrate that they are as new today as they were when they were written.

On a personal note, Ms. Esposito is the daughter of the late jazz pianist/musical director, Gene Esposito, who worked with many greats, including, Joe Williams, Mel Torme, Doc Severinson, and Woody Herman, with whom he co-produced an album Grammy-nominated for best jazz album of 1979.

Ms. Esposito is also descended from a long line of notorious politicians and judges (a member of the Shriver clan), and in that tradition, she has forged a second career in law and public service. She considers giving voice to under-represented songs, like those in "Unsung Hollywood," to be her way of effecting some musical justice, as it were.

The fine musical arrangements on this CD were created
by award winning musical director, Shelly Markham, who also plays piano on the album.
