After becoming financially dependent on his wife of ten years, the once macho Martin Kent finds himself forced to accept that not only has he been relegated to the role of dogsbody and flunkey but he will also have to come to terms with the fact his wife will be stepping outside of their marriage with both sexes.

The company he had once owned having passed into liquidation and the job he had subsequently taken gone with it, Martin finds himself more and more reliant on wife Fiona and her newly flowering career with an Insurance Company. Now, having placed all his assets firmly in her name to prevent repossession after the demise of his company and huge credit-card debts, he realises the tenuous nature of his position in the home Fiona now owns.
