Bunker Soldier emerges once again to deliver his best written and produced songs ever! "Triple Threat" contains 3 songs for fans of pounding bass, Gary Numan style riffs and KMFDM energy. Bunker decided to spend all his time and money in the studio on doing 3 songs completely right in every aspect. The mix on these tracks is most impressive! Recorded at the Panhandle House and produced by Erik Herbst, fans of Bunker Soldier will be totally blown away by these new offerings!
"Warlocked" will be your newest dancefloor anthem with its Middle-Eastern chorus....."Flying" , track 2, is sung by Hildegunn Surdal, a 21 year old Norwegian jazz singer with the voice of an angel. "Flying" will be released as a radio single and is Bunker Soldier''s best song to date! She is constantly getting compared to Sarah McLachlan and Delerium! "Firewall" is straight-up industrial dance music right for getting the club shaking. Deep bass and drums give way to light synths, only to be driven back into the darkness over and over again, as is Bunker Soldier''s style.
***"Triple Threat" was named to reflect Bunker Soldier''s clever and lethal mixing of Industrial, Synthpop and Techno styles. Also...
Bunker Soldier''s full name contains 3 T''s -
Timothy Thomas Tyran
This is his 3rd CD.***
Don''t forget to try out Bunker''s 2 other CD''s available only through https://www.tradebit.com. "QUITE A DILEMMA", released in 1996, was Bunker Soldier''s first CD. If you love "Flying" you must absolutely check out "Infection" from that cd. It''s one of Bunker Soldier''s best songs!
"INNUENDO", released in 1999, is for Industrial and Goth fans looking for true underground gems. If "Triple Threat" is too polished of a sound for you, check out the angst of "Innuendo." "Break the Ice" is also a must listen! Both CD''s are available for only $9.99 each.
Print ads will be placed in Belgium''s ''Side-Line Magazine'', Canada''s ''Comatose Rose'', England''s ''Kaleidoscope'' and California''s ''Outburn'' magazines to promote "Triple Threat".
Some frequently asked questions about Bunker Soldier:
q. Why the name Bunker Soldier?
a. Taken from the song title "Bunker Soldiers" from Tim''s favorite band, OMD.
q. When I hear the name Bunker Soldier, I envision a much harsher sound to go with the name. Why does he not change the name to better reflect his melodic style of writing?
a. He actually entertained that idea. But after much thought, he called it off. You will hear attempts to delve into that harsher edge of electronic music, but Tim always seems to touch base with melody as soon as the water gets too rough. That is his trademark sound. Bunker Soldier will never be that in-your-face electronic thrash band that the name might imply. But changing it now, after 10 years, really doesn''t make any sense. Remember, the name came from a synthpop band.
q. Bunker Soldier looks like an angry person in most pictures I have seen, especially in live shots. But the music is somewhat positive and danceable, what gives?
a. You must see Bunker Soldier live to understand this. His shows are absolutely insane and full of energy. His live set is all fast industrial songs delivered with raw emotion. There are no statues behind keyboards on stage with him. Everything is running amok! After a couple beers and thoughts of his ex-fiancee, all hell breaks loose and the sinister Bunker emerges. Once the show is over, back to the easy going, laid back individual known as Tim Tyran.
q. Why did he chose Hildegunn Surdal to sing "Flying?" Is she a part of the band "Bunker Soldier?"
a. Tim can''t imagine any other voice on that track. Her voice is perfect and is just what he had in mind when he wrote the song. She is an independent artist with a very bright future, amd he would like to work with her again in the future. Bunker Soldier has always had many different voices on many different tracks. All selected to "fit" the mood and the song. There is no lead singer for Bunker Soldier, just a lead composer.
