"Spirit of the American West" is a collection of original songs that weave a tale of the Old West. Released in 2005 to Europe, 7 songs hit the Eurpoean TOP 100 Charts and received airplay on more than 70 stations in 15 European countries, as well as Australia, New Zealand and the U.S.A.

Inspired by such Americana greats as "Sons of the Pioneers", Justus and the Montanas, have entertained audiences since 1999. This trio has become a favorite at the annual Big Bear Cowboy Gathering, Randsburg Opera House, Western Shows, fairs and festivals. From their original works to traditional favorites, audiences of all ages enjoy Justus and the Montanas knee slapping, kick-up your heels fun!

This Anmericana trio features Jeff "Justus Strummin" Harrison on rhythm guitar and vocals, Eddie Montana on lead Guitar, fiddle, banjo, harmonica and vocals and "Wrangler Rick" Staples on bass and vocals.

The driving force behind Justus and the Montanas is multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, Eddie Montana. Based in Seal Beach, California, when Eddie is not recording or performing you can find him at his music shop, Seal Beach Music, where he has established a musical instrument museum and features instruments, accessories, books, etc., for beginners to seasoned musicians and collectors.
