SANGRE FRIA (spanish for cold blood) was formed in June 2005 in the San Fernando Valley in California. They are a Latin band influenced by many styles of music such as, Rock,Ska,Reggae,Jazz,Blues & Soul. The founding members Conrad "Cuauhtemoc" Vizcarra(guitar/vocal)and Manuael "Moctezuma" Venegas(hand percussion), assembled the band with the idea of using their cultural background and up-bringing in Los Angeles to tell stories about love,pain,pride and revolution. They write lyrics in both spanish and english. Additional members of SANGRE FRIA include, Chris "Tizoc" Crouch(drums), Norm "Quetzalcoatl" Rodriguez(timbales/bongos), Scott "Itzcoatl" Sheers(bass), Lorenzo "Tenoch" Franco(congas), and Dan "Tlaloc" Renfro(sax).

SANGRE FRIA has performed at many venues in southern California, including the House of Blues,B.B. King''s,Rumba Room. They have also performed at various outdoor events and festivals. For 2007, the band has procured a special performance schedule at the Los Angeles Historical Monument located at El Pueblo Placita De Dolores(aka Olvera street) where they will perform each month. SANGRE FRIA has grown from a locally known band to an internationally recognized group with their inception of their My Space website.
