GENE BOHLMANN
Bachelors Degree with honors in Jazz Composition
Berklee College of Music.
Masters Degree in Classical Composition
New England Conservatory of Music.
Born in Los Angeles, Gene moved to Boston to study music in college. He studied privately with Donald Martino (Harvard University), Tom McKinley (NEC), Shirish Korde (Berklee College), and Hugo Norden (Boston University) and has composed for a variety of instrumental combinations from Solo-Flute to Jazz Big-Band and Symphonic Orchestra. He has written film scores, such as the award winning "Illusions" directed by Julie Dash (The Rosa Parks Story), Electronic Music, 12-Tone Serial works and popular songs. Back in Los Angeles, Aerial Display was founded to make possible performance and, with this CD, recording the jazz compositions conceptualized for this instrumentation.

Peggi has worked with Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand, Luther Vandross, The Crusaders, Smokey Robinson, Bob Dylan,
Tracy Chapman and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
Peggi started out by capturing the Star Search $100,000 Grand Championship for Female Vocalist. Hear her featured on the Oleta Adams song “I’ve Got a Right!”
