alternative-techno machine-funk-rock

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, ELECTRONIC: Techno

Here we have a very interesting union of Funk and Electronic/Industrial Edge with a touch of Rock thrown in for good measure. I.F.U. is Alton Simpson, one man with a vision and a soul of fire creating a very distinctive style and sound. A former Punk bassist for the band Stemhead, he is known as a dedicated performed and very devoted to his fans. Now he is completely poured himself into his own solo project that has been grabbing attention in is local Philly scene and beyond since 1996. His material released as MP3s on the internet are already getting numerous hits as is his video Dark featuring the Queens of Goth "The Devil Dolls" With his electronic sounds, rock edge, industrial overtones and bordering a dark, goth feel, coupled with his punk background, I.F.U. has managed to put something together here that is all his own. I.F.U. has a cross over sound that wont grab everyone in any specific genre, but is sure to grab some in many genres. In 2002 I.F.U. founder Al Simpson also founded his own production company. With his 3 Heads Productions LLC Al has produced and musically scored a variety of commercials currently airing locally in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area on Comcast Cable. He also produced and scored a film entered and shown at the NYC Midnight to Midnight 24 hour Film Festival in 2005. I.F.U has released the CD "Rocks" as well as the CD "Technology" and these are available on ITunes and https://www.tradebit.com. Three I.F.U videos "717" "Dark" "Pray for your Sins" video on Comcast on Demand! The latest release is "World War Won" and contains the strongest musical statement yet!
