I’ve always enjoyed live “background” music at coffee shops, and hopefully this music echoes that style. Each of these songs began as simply an acoustic piece. The other instrumentation was added later in the studio. Try listening to this cd while driving – one hand on the wheel, coffee in the other hand… and cell phone inactive. Hopefully you’ll find yourself not intently listening to the songs, but being distracted from the pressures of the day and thinking about pleasant things. After all, isn’t that one reason we enjoy coffee so much? It’s a brief “smell the roses” break spent alone or with others, reminding us that life is more than busyness. Hope you like it a latte.
