Melbourne melodic death metal band, Moredhel, began when Jeremy and Brendan met Taran through school at the age of 13. Taran was the token angry A.D.D. kid who was handed a pair of drum sticks to help calm him down. Brendan and Jeremy picked up a guitar each and played along to Tarans beating the crap out of drums. After a while they realised they were sort of in a band, so decided to look for a bass player and vocalist. They found Shane to fit the part of bass. Feeling a bit adventurous the band threw sarah to add keyboards to their sound. Countless shows around Melbourne grew the bands fan base imensely. Added to this, their four track 2005 demo was well received and created further anticipation for an album. 2007 is the year Moredhel will hit the foreground of Australian Metal. The eagerly awaited nine track debut album will be released mid 2007. Mixed by Bloodbath’s Dan Swano in Sweden, Moredhel fans will be more then impressed by what this album has to offer.
