Ellen Foley - Vocals and lyrics consultation. The first song that Matt wrote for Ellen’s voice was Refreshed Eyes. Ellen has supplied vocals for every song written since then, much to Matt’s relief. She is now also singing Last Melt for live performances and may take on some of the other songs that Matt sings on this CD.
Matt Greenberg - Guitar, vocals, and song writing. As a teenager, he played rhythm guitar for Harvey, a home town cover band. After years engaged in other professions, Matt began discovering a passion for song writing in 2005. Matt supplied vocals for the first few songs he wrote (but denies the ability to sing and play at the same time): Girl in the Red House; Three Day Lenny; Virtual Still Shots; Last Melt. Matt and Nick are brothers.
Nick Greenberg - Bass and song arrangements. Nick graduated from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Nick plays bass for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Cincinnati Ballet and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. He also plays bass for the jazz group Hattrick and is a member of the Ault Trio, a classical, pop and jazz trio.
Becky Greenberg - Violin. Becky dusted off her violin at Matt''s request for a fiddler for one of his songs and she has now surreptitiously edged her way into nearly all of them (Shhh, keep this under your hat. I don''t think Matt has noticed yet).
Max Greenberg - Keyboards. Max is recorded on every song except Girl in the Red House. Max is Becky and Nick’s teenage son. He recently earned a second place at the Nathaniel Patch Piano Competition. He has performed with the top band at the Miami Valley Jazz camp, CCM''s Jazz Explosion and plays with The Ridge Jazz Band. Max has also taken up clarinet, bass clarinet and saxophone.
