Welcome to a world of consciousness, a world of self-respect. Where music envokes the thoughts that many say you''re not allowed to have & having them seperates the SMALL talkers from the BIG listeners...
My family escaped Moldova (Russia) as refugees to Europe while I was still in the womb. I was born in Berlin, Germany on October 13, 1986. We returned to Moldova where I spent my early childhood years. I am half Moldavian and half Ugandan (African). When I came to the States all I ever dreamed of was then possible in my eyes if I worked hard for it. My family settled in Stamford “Lockcity” CT, a growing city close to N.Y.C., whose huge musical influence flooded it. I began singing at the age of 6, learned to read music at the age of 8, taught myself guitar at 14, and learned classical piano by age 16.
I began Lockcity Entertainment to give my career the attention it needed. Performing and recording around the tri-state for everyone and anyone who would listen, recording in studios, and meeting shady producers and music executives, quickly showed me the reality of the music business; its tough. But I know that I have what it takes to make it so I press forward, knowing that one day someone will see that my music is what’s been missing: That thirst that everyone is trying to quench, that commercial music just does not satisfy. Two words, real music, plain and simple, and that’s what I have to offer. I plan to change the world with my music, like Gandhi said, "You must be the change you want to see in the world." Through non-profit organizations like Save Darfur, ONE, Genocide Intervention Network and Oxfam, I am beginning to make a difference in the world. What one man can do is nothing compared to a group of people with a purpose and a reason.
Everyday I wake up and write, compose, and promote my music, because it’s all I have in a world that’s disappointing. Music is uplifting. Music is promising. Music is inspirational. Music has always been and will always be my life. Now it’s my time to tell my story, are you ready?
