What are Signature Ads?

Have you ever received an email from someone and below their name there was a line or two that also served as some type of advertisement? Well, those are Signature Ads, also known as "Signature Files."

They are AUTOMATICALLY INSERTED into every outgoing email that those people send.

Signature files are also very popular to use when posting to a forum. Most forums don't allow advertisements in the body of a post, so using a signature ad is a way around that rule.

You should insert one of these signatures to the bottom of all of your outgoing emails. Just go to your email preferences, copy and paste one of these signatures to your emails and watch your sales skyrocket!

Banner ads are one of the BEST ways to promote any site since they are colorful, flashy and fun to look at. Simply place them somewhere visitors will see and click on them.

The most common size for a banner seems to be 468 x 60 pixels, but that doesn't mean other sizes can't be effective as well.

You can either:

1.   Add one or more of these banners to your website
2.   Submit these banners in banner exchange programs
3.   Use them as advertisements
4.   Or use a combination of two or more of the above

Banner Ad 1 (468 x 60 static banner)

Banner Ad 2 (468 x 60 static banner)

Banner Ad 3 (100 x 100 static banner)

Banner Ad 4 (120 x 484 static banner)

The Truth About Aromatherapy

Article Content Much to the chagrin of millions of users and believers all over the world, aromatherapy is not a cure for anything. Aromatherapy doesn't treat, it doesn't heal and it doesn't save.

What it does do, though, is enable your body to allow other treatments to work. Aromatherapys best effort is to cleanse the body through the inhalation of essential oils and create an environment where a cure can work.

Aromatherapy isn't the factor that will restore your health, but it might be instrumental in allowing your health to be restored.

Aromatherapy has been around since the cradle of civilization, used as a healing agent by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Hippocrates recommended an aromatherapy bath to accompany any treatment regimen and believed in the power essential oils carried. Throughout history, medical personnel have recommended aromatherapy as a beneficial accompaniment to a proper treatment. Aromatherapy was never intended to replace a treatment on its own.

The myth of a curing agent involved in Aromatherapy arrived only in the 20th century. During World War II doctors discovered that aromatherapy was beneficial for treating soldiers with gangrene. The treatment didn't cure the gangrene, but made the situation easier for the soldiers to deal with.

Ever since, aromatherapy carried around a powerful healing stigma. People confused by the concept and unsure as to the exact science assumed aromatherapy to be a mythical cure and one that only a fool would use, without realizing that it was never supposed to cure anything.

The controversy surrounding aromatherapy got so muddled that people were left completely in the dark about the true power that the worlds oldest medicinal treatment contains.

Aromatherapy is a not a myth and its not a weird, alternative treatment. Aromatherapy is an effective way to help your body heal itself.

Aromatherapy doesn't need to be preformed by a doctor or a medical practitioner, anyone can walk into a natural health store, buy the necessary oils and start his own treatment.

In its basic form, a Blog is an online journal, but over the course of the past few years, the popularity of blogs has exploded and blogs are now used as marketing and promotional tools as well.

Blogs allow just about anyone to publish articles and information that is accessible across the Internet.

Due to their particular systems, Blogs can enhance the likelihood of search engine algorithms picking them up and making them easily indexed and searched.

Although this may sound complicated, a deeper understanding of how they work is NOT required to enjoy their benefits.

Blogs are personable and individualized. They are meant to be written as thoughts and reflections and not as newspaper articles or school essays. Most blogs are even written in story form.

I've provided a Blog Post that you can post everywhere you possibly can. Unlike everything I've posted for you so far, I encourage you to personalize this blog post. It'll make it much more effective.

A Cynic Amongst Us

Article Content People call me a lot of different names. Since I was a kid, I've acquired nicknames like most kids collect baseball cards. Unlike the sports collection though, I rarely liked the names I was given, even those few nicknames that weren't derogatory.

I like to think I carry myself with a certain amount of pride and when people call me anything other than my name, well, it makes me feel like no one takes me seriously.

There is one name though that I don't mind people calling me and they've been calling me it since I was in college. That name is Cynic.

People find it funny that I am critical of the world around me and that I am cynical towards almost everything. Its who I am and I'm not embarrassed about it. I've been wrong in my cynicism before, but that comes with the territory since more times than not, I'm right.

One thing that I've been terribly cynical about recently is this ridiculous notion of the health benefits of aromatherapy.

It all started a couple weeks ago when I got home from work to see a package from my friend Rob on my doorstep. Inside the package was a couple different vials of colored liquid and an eBook printed out and stapled. The eBook was called Aromatherapy For Cynics and Rob had circled the word Cynics with a red marker.

I know my friends get a kick out of me, so I let them have their fun. I didn't read the book, but I didn't throw it out. I didn't want to give my friends any more ammunition than they needed.

The package sat on my coffee table for a week or so before my curiosity started getting the better of me. I had no interest in reading the book, but the oils seemed intriguing. I had no idea what I was supposed to do with them but they were such pretty colors.

I opened the package and took the vials out to examine. These funny colored oils were supposed to make me feel better, huh? Seems hard to believe, but so many people did believe in it.

I couldn't control myself. I took out the eBook and started scanning through it. I knew there must be an answer to why people believed that sniffing these oils can help them feel better. The whole concept seemed ridiculous to me, but I needed to know why people believed.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but as I read the book, I realized how wrong I was about aromatherapy. In fact, I was completely off base when it came to aromatherapy.

Like, for instance, did you know that no one expects aromatherapy to cure their illness? Aromatherapy has nothing to do with curing disease. The point of the smelling is to prepare you body for the medicine you are about to take. Sounds weird, but interesting.

The more I read, the more I realized how stupid I was for being so cynical without knowing what I was talking about. I'm not embarrassed to admit it. When I'm wrong, I'm glad for people to show me the truth.

Anyway, if you are interested in reading the book that made a cynic like me realize that the world isn't so cut and dry, click on the link below.

A "sponsored ad" is an ad that appears at the very top of an ezine. Although there are lower spots available, sponsored ads are the most effective since they are seen the most.

A sponsored ad is always seen and it is the first communication someone sees and reads immediately upon opening an ezine.

Sponsored ads by definition must be small (usually not to exceed just a few short punchy lines of text).

A great place to run a 4-line sponsored ad is at MBP Advertising.

For a listing of sponsored ad advertising locations click here.
