ROCK: Punk, ROCK: Hard Rock
If you want a band that will rock your ass from the womb to the tomb, look no further. The Midget$ are four rock gods who’ve cometh from hell to rock your soul. Actually, they were spawned from the bowels of Langley, BC where their unique brand of punk rock emerged. If you’d like an intricate picture of their style, imagine Nirvana and the Sex Pistols double-dickin’ Devo, the Midget$ would be the outcum.
With an impressive repertoire of original tracks, The Midget$ have released their 2-disc debut album “Morning Wood” with nine original songs, a cover of Devo’s “Whip It”, and a DVD chock full of special features including a music video for their first single “The Next Song”, and footage from the guerilla-style concert The Midget$ staged on the back of a flatbed truck at a Langley Arts festival.
Here''s what peeps had to say about The Midget$:
I suspect you are gonna hear a lot of music from THE MIDGETS album. I laughed my ass off after listening to their new Cd ''Morning Wood'' and watching the supplemental DVD with videos, live performances and more. I recommend checking out their first single ''The Next Song'' as well as their rockin'' cover of Devo''s ''Whip it''! Songs like ''Courtney Killed Kurdt'', and ''O.J. Is guilty'', plus one of my favs ''the hammer Your facing'' is sure to please fans of punk music, and especially those that are fans of the growing underground Canadian punk movement in this country. Canada is more than Sum 41 and Simple Plan, we also have The Midgets.

I recently received a copy of "Morning Wood" and went thru the whole damn thing. First off I have always claimed to play 100% independent music and have been for 8 years everything from ROCK thru to BLUES (NO COUNTRY or DANCE) so thought I would check it out. I have to tell ya IT FUCKIN ROCKS!! Not just pieces of it but the whole fuckin thing everything from the live stuff to the great graphics. I love the Langley festival stuff some of those old farts were pissed!
