11 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Funk Rock, NEW AGE: Spiritual

Also known as Tamborelli, this artist brings back the true essence of what artistry is all about. Uncontrolled, un-manipulated, un-âwhite-collarâdâ music direct from inspiration itself...

She began singing professionally at the age of 13 for Ray Parker Jr. of Raydio and Ghostbusters fame. Some might say she began training her producing ear then too when Ray would ask â her opinionâ of what sounded best....âthis or that?â ;)

Even before she began to write songs she was a poet at the very early age of 5 writing of love lost and such things that couldnât have possibly been experienced in just 5 years of life.....or not in this one anyway;) Tamborine started singing in her first band called Premonition with her brother Tommy who wrote all the music to her lyrics & melodies and her sister Krista sang back up. Krista also co-wrote âI Amâ which is a current track on Tamborineâs latest album. Aaron McLain, the guitarist of the band, Tamborine literally âbumped intoâ on the dance floor of a popular LA nightclub at the time and did so on purpose because she thought he looked like Prince and in those days Tamborine didnât just like Prince, she wanted to BE Prince!! LOL

By this time her song writing was well underway and sitting in the back of the class doing just that, was the order of the day. Board with the unstimulating curriculum that produced an A/B average when she applied herself, Tamborine gladly took the GED and consequently was on the road with a top 40 band the month she was to start her junior year.

That experience birthed a liaison to the next band Tamborine became a part of. It was called Foster Few and the Few. Yea, you guessed it, Tamborine was one of âThe Fewâ and although this Sly and the Family Stone meets Prince spin off didnât go anywhere it did lead her to Chicago where she would work with some of the most sought after and respected musicians in the business.

There she met and worked with Kevin Chandler who produced and co-wrote the music of her CD entitled Tamborelli which can be described as a neo-soul, multifaceted mouth watering Starburst fruit chew that can be revisited time and time again without losing its flavor or appeal. Look for that also to be re-released;)

Moving back to her roots in Los Angeles produced a musical reunion with her childhood band-mate Aaron McLain who has himself become one of the most sought after and respected guitarist in the industry. He and Tamborine managed to find time in-between Aaronâs busy schedule of touring with Marc Anthony as his lead guitarist for the last 7 years and the debut of his own solo album entitled SATURN to go âhalfâ on a musical baby called The Dinner Party.

Tamborine hears the melody and the lyrics, picks it out on the piano which she actually plays on every song, then Aaron adds his moe joe to it with live bass and guitar then they both program the livest soundin drums ya ever heard....probably because playin live has been a part of most of their natural lives so âlive drumsâ ya might say are ânaturalâ to them.

To date Tamborine and Aaron have never had such a âmagicalâ experience in collaborating as they have had in the creation of this new release. 11 songs that are an amalgamation of Hendrix style Rock (True As You) mixed with Soul-full lyrics that are crooned from the core and depth of the heart like in the song Love I, You Greatly. Then this musical ride takes you to the heights of motivation with the infectious anthem of Jusâ Do It, then drops you back off with the awe-inspiring hand clappin, feel good of Dear One. The whole CD literally takes you to the left, then to the right and catches you smilin somewhere in the middle of what Tamborine calls Futuristic Rock & Soul.
