ABOUT THE ALBUM "Crisys Situation"
Every so often an album is made that grabs your attention from the moment you put it into your CD deck, this is one of those moments. When you hear the word crisys you think of problems and despair. In this case Crisys meaning a crisys to the whole rap industry caused by GNT MUZIK’s hip hop recording artist Crisys in his debut album “Crisys Situation”. This new Hip Hop poet delivers a collection of great songs, from thought provoking to club records as well as having strong and memorable guest appearances.
On the second track, “We can do it”, Crisys colorfully describes the lengths he will go to stay on top of his game in the streets and in the industry. From the opening of this track, Crisys’ vivid lyrical content is a stark contrast to conscious rap. On “Between the lines” Featuring A-Dolo, Crisys continues his lyrical assault describing “White Boy Willie” “he ain''t grow up playing rock and roll but he can serve a ni** rock then roll”. Then on the track “Snitch” Crisys uses his potent rhymes to address snitches, envious haters and backstabbers.
Crisys tends to be at his best when penning tales of introspect like “Greater later”. While many rappers over saturate their albums with “sweet” love ballads aimed at luring ladies into the bedroom, Crisys’ attempt at the ladies is “Get naked”, in this track he gets to the point, passed the game spitting and gets right to business. The only so called love ballad on the album is “Gudda gurl” Feat. S.A.M, Crisys explains that the only type of woman he needs in his life is a "Gudda gurl" “we sure gonna dispute, cause when I leave then come home my clothes are on the stoop”. A debut album that allows listeners to fully see into the mind of an artist is rare. In this case, Crisys sharing his insight and vision is just what the doctor ordered and so should you.
THIS ALBUM IS PARTLY DISTRIBUTED DIGITALY BY SONICWAVE INTL./SONY BMG.
