MP3 Kim Doolittle - Touch Wood

13 MP3 Songs
BLUES: Blues Vocals, COUNTRY: Country Blues
I am a vocalist and musician of 31 years. Touch Wood is my 5th CD. I did not theme this CD, I simply chose from the tunes I sing live. I wrote all of the songs but two, which is a challenge to choose at the best of times, because I have written or co-written over 200. I play bass and guitar and sing my guts out every chance I get.
I am steeped in country and the blues, but I love all music. I have been compared to Bette Midler and Patsy Cline and Bonnie Raitt. What a Heinz 57 is that eh? There is a Canadian-ism for you.
I have shared the stage with a lot of illuminaries from Canada and the States including The Barenaked Ladies, Edgar Winter, Steve Lukather, Lee Oscar, Downchild Blues Band, Jeff Healey, Gordie Johnston and Big Sugar, Rita McNeil, Bruce Guthro, Prairie Oyster, Michelle Wright, Jason McCoy, Burton Cummings, Red Rider, Amanda Marshall, The Kings, Goddo and many, many more.
I am an independent artist just really hitting my stride at the best time of my life. I am in the process of writing a jazz/blues CD and will be posting a few of my earlier CD's shortly.
I hope that you enjoy the music that you hear with this disc. I can be reached at [email protected] and as well, keep your eye open for a web page soon to be in existance at https://www.tradebit.com.
May all your blues be the musical kind.
