Facts Aktor & the Analysis, based in Northern California have released the debut CD "Divisions In The Soil" in early November of 2007. Essentially, it is a solo project which was put together meticulously over the past 18 months with guest appearances on a few tracks.
The 12 song disc features several areas of pop oriented rock with a common thread being very interesting lyrics. There are very radio friendly confectionaries such as "A Man I Don''t Like" and "Tina, You Could Have Been A Star", songs with a pop-punk flair such as "Twistin'' To The Hale-Bopp" and "Hideaway", one track which almost borders on metal in "What Have You Got To Lose", an 8 minute complex piano oriented structure in "Willoughby" as well as a 6 plus minute instrumental which features many different drum and rhythm styles in "Black''s Beach". It is sort of an "either love it or hate it" offering with more depth than most can handle.
