Damian "Dramatik" Gamble was born on November 25, 1981 in Mobile Al. He started rapping at the tender age of 12. After no sucess with diffrent groups and local labels, he decided to go independent. At the age of 14 he decided to one day own his own record label which he would call Merciless Records, but that would be yet to come.
At sixteen he started making beats with his keyboard he bought with money he had saved. He hooked up with another group called Made Mob (making a dolla every minute or better) and he and his group started making neighborhood success. Their first single on Merciless Records "City Streets" was a big hit in their hood and school, but the 2000 album release never came out due to differences in the group.
Dramatik had to regroup himself, and by late 2001 Dramatik started recording on his debut album On Da Grind. His song "Shake It Shawty" landed him to be one of the four finalist in his city's Rep Yo City contest in the summer of 2003. Then in early 2004, recording was finished and he was finally able to print and release his first album. The release date was late February. Local sales soared pass 500 in his first week, mostly sold out of his hands. He is being sought after by local labels for production and guest appearances on their albums.
