After maturing as a songwriter and guitarist (and learning how to program synths), I found Jason and got him to play drums with me. After taking the home recording process as far as we could alone, we hired Mark Pistel of Consolidated/Meat Beat Manifesto to help us put together a solid album.
The Boy Who Flew Too Close to the Sun captures a moment in our history, and I''m proud of it, especially some of the guitar work. Since then we''ve brought Finn (bass/guitar/keys/programming/vocals) into the fold and we''re finding new energy. Hopefully we''ll have another album, soon.
