Born and raised in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Jana graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Arts: specializing in Radio, TV and Film Production. During her college years, she sang and danced in the Wisconsin Singers organization and performed in Washington, D.C., and at Walt Disney World. Upon graduation, Jana moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue her career in television and music. She earned a position at Nashville’s CBS affiliate doing TV commercials, and also worked on two TV shows at The Nashville Network both on-camera and behind-the-scenes. Some of her most memorable celebrity interviews include country music singer, Alan Jackson; the great Minnie Pearl; and Tony Bennet. During this time, Jana also pursued her own music career by performing at Opryland USA’s Theme Park; the Opryland Hotel, and the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville.
Some other career highlights include singing the National Anthem for the Milwaukee Brewers, the Milwaukee Wave, the Milwaukee Admirals, and for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Currently, Jana hosts a TV show called, "New Home Showcase" in Chicago, IL. In addition to her television pursuits, Jana’s talented voice is being used on many radio and TV commercials in Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, Charlotte, and in numerous cities in Florida and Minnesota. Some clients include American Sale, Plunkett Home Furnishings, and Ryland Homes.
