Hi I am John Lisco. I am not good at talking about myself. But I will Do my best for you now.
I am a native of New Jersey and lived there until I was 20. I left home with a bag and some cash and some how ended up in Los Angeles. I did not have a clear vision of what I wanted to pursue in life when i first arrived there. So like many others I did the acting/modeling thing for a while. IT WAS NOT FOR ME. It was in the second year of living there I discover music. Not playing growing up I never even considered music as an option. But my roommate had this twelve string guitar and the minute he started playing I knew I had to learn. Not just playing guitar but song writing and singing. I was completely consumed, nothing else mattered. For the first time in my life as many other musicians I felt like I had a voice in this world. I really wanted to write songs that have deep meaning in and about our lives. How we choose to live them and how we see them. So seeking the most honest and heart felt approach I now have this first installation of songs for you all. It touches on the world we live in globally and intimately. I hope you can enjoy and relate to them all. Thank you for listening.
