computerchemist is the ongoing solo project of Dave Pearson, who lives in Staffordshire, England.

Over the last 25 years Dave''s music has been strongly influenced by “classic” Berlin School performers such as Tangerine Dream (mostly from the ''72-''86 period) and Klaus Schulze, as well as taking inspiration from newer, more contemporary musicians with a diversity ranging from The Mars Volta to Csaba Vedres.

The album "icon one" evolved over the course of 10 months and has already received critical acclaim and an exclusive preview on Después del Eclipse Radio; now it is available in both physical CD album form and digital download.

"icon one" takes the listener on a voyage of sonic discovery; from the energy and light of "icon one" to the darkness and entropy of "icon zero"; the past memories recalled by "timethorns" and the focal centre of the album "chaos theory" - where a small, insignificant event can cause a massive shift of everything - computerchemist weaves an evocative blend of instrumental synthesis which is sure to delight fans of the EM genre. The last track, "the message", carries a simple premise; we all have within us the power to change the future.

Dave is currently working on his third album, to be released sometime in 2008. For more information, you can visit his website at https://www.tradebit.com and the official myspace site at https://www.tradebit.com
