Details:
After touring locally in the mid-west club circuits promoting his previously released album, “Reliable Source,” Matt returned to Renwood Messenger Studios, Kenosha, WI to record his new album called “Destination(s).” Along with the radio-friendly tracks, such as “Jenga in the Dark” and “Highway Conversation,” Matt has featured some very talented artists such as Saxophone artist great, James Perkins on “FamJam,” a funky hard hitting compilation. In addition, long time band member, Ben Johnston, continues to express his phenomenal talent on the piano and keyboards. Chris Wrate a young and talented guitar player/performer is also featured on this album – “What out for this kid”. “Destination(s)” features catchy melodies, sharp guitar riffs and catchy choruses. This album is much brighter and more dynamic than his funky/alternative debut album, with more keyboards and the addition of horns for background texture. The interesting thing about “Desination(s)” is how it’s fully realized, presenting every facet of Saucedo’s musical personality, along with his musical abilities in which he tracked drums/percussions, bass, guitars, and vocals. Even with this sense of discovery this album rises to the occasion.
