Melody Marshals was formed in the small town of Stavanger, Norway, sometime around winter 2002. They''ve spend their time in search for their own sound and expression, evolving into a musical sphere where they felt comfortable. Melody Marshals is inspired by several different genres, but they always appreciate a good melody, often with a bittersweet touch. Some might characterize Melody Marshals'' music as melodic, melancholic, and atmospheric (indie)rock.
As the artistic expression was to become somewhat recognizable they released their first EP in 2006. Melody Marshals has done a lot of shows in Norway, in all the major cities.
"Songs from a tin laboratory" is Melody Marshals’ debut album.
